To My Hero

Contributed by LolaWhite on Saturday, 16th July 2005 @ 07:48:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

A hero sat amongst the rest
This hero was one of our nation's best
A soldier, a husband and a Daddy too
Someone who always has a job to do
He lives his life so others are well
He gives us a Heaven, but he works in Hell
God gave us this hero so we could be free
God gave this hero a wife like me
My hero, my rock and my life
I am proud to be a hero's wife

Wow another good write by the white one. It must be nice to have a hero like this, I wish I was him LOL. It was a touching write and a joy to read and it brought a tear to my eye. Its great to read of a love like this and I’m glad you can love him so much event after some of the hard times he has put you through. I look forward to more of your writes and will wait with much anticipation for the next one to be posted….Steve
