Just because I loved her
Dose not mean I miss her
Dose not imply I would kiss her
If she crawled in, hands and knees
And begged me to forgive her
Just because your palm says so
Or you birthdates coincide
With an astrological sign
Based on the book of the divine
You are a worshiper
Of a false idol
And a therefore inclined
To perceive hypocrisy
For what it has become
And what it has done
Just because I resemble you
Dose not make us alike
Will not provoke me to fight
On your behalf
You are liable
Held negligent and accountable
I disassociate
From hate
And promises proved unreliable
Just because you know me
Never gives you the right
To do what you have done
To speak to me with such spite
With such venom
You are supposed to be a lady
A girl grown into a woman
Instead you fade into immaturity
A sting from the acidic lemon
Just because you have my photo
Doesnt entitle you to look at my face
Shouldnt enable you to reminisce
Reconcile the time I now waste
The memory of what once took place
Placed in a pale of treasure
Burnt up in the fireplace winter
Just because I am real
Does not mean I exist
Does not mean that I live
Or that I strive
Or even persist
Like you I take for granted
This once in a life time gift
Just because I am now poor in hopes
Does not mean I can never become rich

True conviction in your words.
I really liked this one jyss, it flowed beautifully as usual. Being able to relate to so many of these instances it is refreshing to now have a completely different way in which to look at them. great write
