All my life is a dance
Spinning dizzy circles
Sweat, wet and warm
Constant motion
Perfect calm
A barefoot run on a dark stage
Silhouetted by a full moon
To the terrible silent beat of an anxious heart
All the world gasp
As the naked brown girl
Stops center stage
To shake her thing
Proud
Alone
Warmed by the heated arguments
Of a strained society
All my life is a dance
The love of freedom
The freedom of love
