I went down to the dock late one night with you. It was kind of cold, with a 61 degree low for the evening, clear skies, and a full moon. But the weather didn't matter.
We sat and talked for hours. about everything that made us who we are. I gave you my jacket when you got cold.
Looking into your eyes, you reflect the wonders of a midnight paradise. And at the same time, I can see the insuing sunrise, as we both wake, in each other's arms.
But as I look closer, I see my reflection. And this dock on which we sit. And as I close my eyes and kiss you, it occurs to me, that you are my midnight sweetheart and this...
...this is my midnight paradise...
