she's back from the dead
no that's not quite right
she's back from the north
i bet she put up a fight
the people of canada
with demeanor so calm
compared to ugly americans
were a cool soothing balm
her aerodynamic projects
may not have been best
but in good natured humor
in pieces they rest
with quick wit and sharp mind
she rejoins the blog
laser sharp perception
that cuts through the fog
it is for people like shar
for this blog i do write
and kara, kati and esper
composing a cluster so brite

| I liked this poem a lot, I found it interesting how you pulled the word 'shar' from 'sharp'. Though I may be wrong, from some of the word play in your poem I feel that shar, kara, kati, and esper aren't exactly people, but possibly stars, star constilations, satilites, or even that shuttle launch thingy they just did. Then again I might just be overthinking the poem. Great write! |
