People look at me and think I'm fine with my fake smiles, but they don't know they can't read minds.
I'm the entertainment, I'm here to make people laugh, I exist to be sweet.
Yet as I stand here all alone, I wish I had someone to hold me.
It's so cold without anyone, But no one understands me. I just wish I had someone here, To hold me, Someone that's real.
As I stand here all alone, and watch the happy people pass me, I pray that god will send someone, Someone soon.
So I wait.
Once a wise young man told me, That there's a thing about waiting, It's not so much fun when there isn't a set time, but it's the way life works. If we don't wait, we can't expect anything. And as long as we're patient, good things will come.
I believe that, but on the inside I don't want to wait, I just want.
To be happy and loved, it's what every nice guy deserves.
