Remember where we used to go, when it was just you and me,
Nobody to hear our words, nothing there to see,
You used to take my hand, and hold it very tight,
People said we were wrong, but we knew we could make it right.

Remember when you got into a fight, it was the first time I saw you cry,
People said we were failing then, and I really had to try,
You used to tell me you loved me, and you were happy I was there,
People really started to doubt us, but I really didnt care.

Remember when I helped you; I completely saved your life,
Nobody could convince me, that my decision wasnt right,
You held me close, and kissed me, and said wed make it through,
People looked at me differently, I only looked at you.

Remember when you said stupid things, you got angry and upset,
Nobody could convince me, that you should have been left,
You said you were sorry; you were drunk in a mood,
People were telling me the truth, but I only believed you.

Remember when you cheated on me, you wouldnt tell the truth,
Nobody was there to tell me, that I couldnt see through you,
You broke up with me, and you looked like you werent bothered,
People were saying its over, but you said we needed each other.

Remember when we got back together, because you said you needed me,
Nobody was there to explain, it was the truth I couldnt see,
You knew I was there when you wanted me, and that is why you stayed,
People were saying it was a hard game, but what a great turn you played.

Remember when you told me, you were always her for me,
Nobody was there to tell me, that it wasnt you I need,
You told me you didnt care what anyone else said,
People were still explaining, and it finally went into my head.

Do you remember the last time you talked to me, or the last time I was there?
Everybody is here now; dont say you love me if you dont even care.
You told me I meant a lot to you, your heart Id be inside,
People have finally got through to me, so I give up, Goodbye.
