anguished
|
Running through the dark, I was chasing you, and all the while they tore my wings apart.
I begged you not to follow the glow, i cried for you to stay with me,
But i ended up having to let you go.
I wanted to cry, but my eyes were dry,
i wanted to follow, but instead i let myself wallow in a deep hole.
Without my wings i can't find you, all i wanted was to stand beside you.
now i wear these wings of glass, The scars healed, but the memory lasts.
Not even time can heal my heart, since it was broken from the start.
