Nobody know what its like to be me
Whats on the outside is all they see
But on the inside, I hide the lies
As much as I know its not wise.
People dont notice, that I cut
They dont know, Ive fallen into a rut
People tease me all day at school
Maybe its because they think its cool
I hide behind a mask of indifference, pretending I dont care
Most people only care about what theyre going to wear
My friends think Im happy here, the believe the mask
I want someone to understand, is that too much to ask?
So please see through my exterior
Dont make me feel too inferior
I just dont see why I should even try
Im so upset, I cant even cry
Please tell dad Im doing my homework
Otherwise Im sure hell go berserk.
Well Id best be off, the blade calls
Please call me when the sun falls.
