Emptiness without words echoing steps upon worn pavement
these stripes of mine battle scars of life hardened over time
Icy touch against skin this is my own I wonder in night
A nomadic horror without cause pushing limits
hasty strides laying heavy stomp trembling ground
map within mind ongoing journey man speaking with no sound
actions onto others both kind and harsh a quiet murmur
an inner peace one at a cost moving continually

To be completely honest I don't really understand your poem. But I will tell you this- even though I don't understand it, your poem still has this chilling effect. It seems to radiate this feeling of helplessness. Maybe that wasn't what you were going for, but that's what I got out of it anyways. Kudos for you for creating a mode for the reader.
