To the friendship we might have had, The lies you are bound to, Iron-clad, Nevermind. To the decisions you make, The love that you fake, Nevermind.
This beautiful little girl, She sat and waited for you. She was all dressed up, Her Birthday clothes brand new.
You didn't bother to show up, Didn't bother to call. You're lucky she's not old enough, To really feel the fall.
I am tired of waiting for you, Of hearing all your lies. So when I tell you she's staying with me, Don't pretend to be surprised.
She has a real Daddy who loves her, And supports her every day. When your not here to guide her, He always knows the way.
All of this time you had a choice, Your path is what you've laid. And someday when you're missing her, Remember the decision you made.
And so to the promise I made you, With every intention to keep. This little girl would allways be yours, Lies you have sown, and shall reap.
This beautiful little girl, Deserves so much more. Than to be forced to hear lies, That we've all heard before. ~
