Alone in the Crowd

Contributed by poisonpen00ad on Tuesday, 26th July 2005 @ 01:47:43 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Walking toward and endless tomorrow

All that was good has gone leaving only sorrow

Left with nothing but the poverty of my faith

All that I admire has been raped

Looking for ways to speed up my demise

Seeing the world through broken eyes

Aching for something to sooth my strife

Acknowledging at the novelty that is my life

All this anger has bent my soul

My is fate sealed time to pay the toll

Buried in a living graveyard

With values withered my is soul scarred

Booming voices in my head so loud

Morally bankrupt no reason to be proud

There is no one that loves me now

Now Im all alone in the crowd

The best poems always come in the middle of the night.. When your true emotions really show.
