Dashed to the ground
The way I was found
So many years ago
Eleven years old
Memories of fantasies
Taking roots in my dreams
Leave me alone
In my abandoned home
Anger running through my veins
Feelings that I'd never seen
Felt or heard these were new
Thanks to you
Traveling down the lonesome road
The only road I've ever known
Living in the world that shut me out
Full of doubt
Pain remorse my sole thoughts
Remembering the lessons taught
Tragedies that burn at my soul
Without control
Family parents all have gone
Back to the land where I don't belong
They all left without me
Son they'll never see
My closest dearest friends
No longer can depend
On anything that they say
They aren't to blame
Troubled from the start
My secrets all are dark
My life full of lies
I can't hide
Can you remember days
When smiles wouldn't fade
That was so long ago
Heart turned cold
Family friends deserting me
All my love is leaving me
Slowly kill me quietly
Punishment of deeds
Dashed to the ground
The way I was found
So many years ago
