THE HARDEST THING TO SAY, ( A GOODBYE TO

It has been said the hardest thing to say is "I'm sorry,"
and that its hard to say I love you when you truely mean it.
Those are two phrases I find very easy to say,
I love you for being a solid person in my life,
and I'm sorry that our time together must come to and end,
but the hardest thing for all of us who were blessed with you to say,
we now say as we all cry,
the hardest thing to say is goodbye,
In all my childhood memories, you've always been there
in the times of laughter and cheer, Pops was there
in times of sorrow and pain, POPS was there stronger than us all
It gives me strength to know, in all my life, never once did I see a tear fall
from your eye
so the hardest thing to say is goodbye.
Pops don't worry, we will be alright,
because we now your safe tonight
in the sweet light of our Lord above,
and showering us all with your love,
so as much as it hurts to say goodbye,
and no matter how long we all cry
We'll let you rest with God, and we will say goodbye,
Don't cry for us, we have eachother,
one day we will all be together
your memory will never fade away,
as the children will continue to play,
we will continue to live, well march on,
we just need to learn how to with you gone,
so we say the hardest thing we will ever say,
and let your soul go on its way,
with not one dry eye,
we all say goodbye,
so sing with those who went before you,
we now hear your voice and it sings,
"Amazing Grace", POPS has his wings!

I HEAR YA FRIEND AND THIS IS AN IMORTAL TESTIMENT to his mighty luv-n-strength.
in this write I see a man that showed much luv and therefore instilled luv in all he knew.
I'm sorry for your loss and I know the feelings.

| First i would like to say Sorry for your loss and for the rough time your going through. But your poem was good...i really liked that through all the sadness there was a sense of strength and understanding that really makes the poem shine gracefully. great job. |
