Sky View Cabin

Contributed by Willofree on Thursday, 28th July 2005 @ 08:59:40 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

A quaint rustic cabin
Nestled in among the trees
A refuge to escape the drudgeries
Of everyday routine

Over looking the lake, atop the bluff
Surrounded by a forest of diversified trees
A tapestry of mixed sizes and shapes
Providing ia picturesque panoramic escape

A hushed serenity surrounded the place
Where nature and spirit combined
Creating an atmosphere of the sublime
Awesome setting for this wonderful rendezvous

A privilege to experience this amazing location
Where blue sky and sparkling water joined
Nature providing a mirror to reflect its' beauty
Majestic towering pine, a landmark of the divine

I attempt to integrate it all
A deep sense of humility erupts within
I thank God for His beauty before me
A deep experience of peace and tranquility

This is so lovely. I used to have a cabin in Colorado that looked down on a beautiful lake and there was a snow-capped mountain on the other side of the lake. Beautiful trees all around. With binoculars you could see the wild animals on the mountain side. Peace and tranquility is a perfect description. Your imagery is very very good.
