Inside the cool palace of a mind, still desert
Blooms cool thought and gentle reminders
Hissing of fires and burning embers, lovers
Caught off guard in memories sweet refrain
Lungs fill with air remember you were hurt
Still pictures flutter against closed eyes, I cant decide
Blue veins fight the sun for surrender
Cradled against your heart, it was pounding
Wishes burn and some people never learn
When it all comes down theres no place to hide
