Love was never meant for me;
The hope I had is gone.
A single hand, like desert sand
Had scorched me for so long.
Love was never meant for me,
And now it seems so true;
My hearts desire grew so strong
And yet it broke in two.
Love was never meant for me;
My heart broke even more
And now I pick them one by one
The pieces off the floor.
Love was never meant for me
It never was before.
My love was out for one more time
But my heart she broke and tore.

I did indeed enjoy this poem although it was very sad.
Love is meant for you, yes it will come. The heart is a strong muscle it will soon heal, ready for the best love you have ever known. Are you ready? |
