The stripes and the stars
The Red, White, and Blue
The freedom of speech
All men equal
Everything lost
Welcome my friend to America
We stand united?
We stand divided?
The red states
The blue states
Which are you?
Does it even matter
What you do?
Protest the war
Go to jail for life
Since we all dont think alike
Welcome my friend to America
Pay your taxes
Lose your rights
Leave your job
Vote for your life
Make a difference
Just dont die
Save the kids
Teach what's true
Instead of always hearing the news
They kill
We kill
Blood spills
Were no better
Remember he wants you
Who?
Oh thats Uncle Sam
Just pointing at you

Go sign up for the reserves
Navy, Army, Marines
Any Military will do
The white house will be proud of you
Go grab a gun and fight
Fight for your life
Fight for your rights
Fight for freedom
What freedom?
Forget it just fight
Murder the kids
Murder the women
Murder the men
Kill em all
Before they kill you
Cry in vain
Die in pain
Remember this is Bushs game

Hi Brandy, this makes for really interesting reading indeed. The contradictions, yes, in US politics, but also common to most western states is clearly expounded. You also touch on the theme of American warfare in a way similar to that of Roger Waters (ex Pink Floyd) on his wonderful album , 'Amused to Death'. Very interesting and courageous indeed.

A ture Masterpeice if ever there was,
beautiful writting, not to mention oh
how true, the things that money can
by, and not necessarily only in corperate
america, this is corageious, i must say
it again, a masterpeice if ever there was,
and u r one hell of a writter as well as what a
true artist should be, i'm proud of

| Excellent write, Brandy. It is definitely not our America anymore. But only by the people standing up and doing something will we be able to make it for the people again. First we need to teach our children that the government is not the top dog. So come election times we must vote simply to save the right to do so. Stop the government from supporting every country but its own. Our own children are starving, so are our elderly who cannot even get the medications they need to live. This is brilliant and I thank you for sharing it with us. Rita |
