Infatuation or Love?

Contributed by xthrewmyluvawayx on Monday, 1st August 2005 @ 03:37:42 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I don't understand these feelings,
or why I like you so much,
or why I want you to be mine,
or why I long for your touch.

I don't understand why I get so sad,
whenever I begin to think of you,
or why I thought I had a chance,
so now what should I do?

Maybe it's because you're funny,
and make me feel different things,
maybe it's because you're you,
and someone I've seen in my dreams.

I don't understand why I like you,
when I haven't known you that long,
or why you never noticed my feelings,
or maybe im just wrong.

I don't understand why I feel crazy,
so crazy I don't know what to do,
All I know is who I want,
and that person is you.

Maybe it's because you're different,
You're not like anyone else,
You're just your own person,
not the usual oneself.

I don't understand why you say nothing's different,
when really everything is,
or why you just moved on,
after asking me for a kiss.

I don't understand what it is about you,
that gives my stomach butterflies,
or makes me think about you often,
or what's giving me these feelings inside.

Maybe it's because you're perfect,
possibly sent from about,
or maybe its's because I'm crazy,
in infatuation or love.

Truly, love has its reasons in which reason knows nothing of. Maybe love is just somtething for the heart to feel, and never for the mind to comprehend.
Great poem!
Keep writing!
