A friend of mine once told me
That I was his angel
He told me that I was the reason
Why he didn't mind waking in the morning
That friend is happy
And thanks me for the joy
And when he's sad, my phone rings
We talk about his problems
I don't mind the hours
For I am his angel
I'm glad to be his savior
But in a way I'm jealous
For he has an Angel
And I am here alone and sad
I once had an angel though
A long long time ago
But God took him away from me
With no reason or explaination
My Angel got up and went away
I'm so jealous of my friend
For he has an angel
While I sit alone and cry
He was the only reason for my smiles
The joy in my heart
He was the reason I got up
I just wanted him to hug me
And call me his little girl
God took my angel away
And took my love and trust as well
