When all hope is lost
When all is said and done
The will to carry on
Is lost and not won
In the absence of security
The heart frails and dies
After living too long
With all the torment and lies
Nurtured with hate
Saturated right at the core
Anger brews so strong
Only pain's left in store
Bitterness takes over
Dreams are no longer zeal
Wounds lay open
No amount ot time can ever heal
Broken to pieces
This heart lies on the floor
For the will it once had
Is lost and no longer more...

Never give up hope, dreamer. There will be light, laughter and love in your life again. Just when it looks the darkest the light will shine. I have been there, I am there now, but I refuse to give up hope. I won't let anyone take me down.

Really good I can totally relate to this, but
time does heal all hurts just stick it out and
keep on writing. I loved it all, but don't let hurt
weigh you down.

This is intensely sad dreamer...oh my. You expressed your emotions so very well in this piece...the ending gave me chills. So sad, but a nicely written poem. You can pm me if you ever want someone to talk to...I hope you realize that, and I hope things brighten up for you soon, as you are a dear soul : )

eternal_dreamer is a great name for you. It fits you to perfection. But dreams often crash and burn, when reality becomes too clear. I pray you had a good friend with a kind shoulder. Tears will get you through it, for after tears your heart can rest.

The rhyme is well done, the imagery and wording is

Begin to give, instead of giving up, this will create a joy in you and hopelessness and despair will burn out. Yes there is a deep sense of joy in giving, Jesus gives, listen to Him.
When we give to others and help others we are less inclined to sink into ourselves.. do not give up hope, help others and you will be helping yourself, this is truth. We have discussed many things, you know this to be the truth, you were there for me.
Here is a gift for you. huggies..
Perhaps this reading will give you joy...
