Walk along the sun drenched shore Waves cascading, oceans roar Shingle mixed with sand so fine Scent of oysters, sparkling wine
If you listen hard and long You will hear the mermaids song Singing out to one and all Listen! can you hear her call
Look out at this scene, so free Where horizon meets the sea See the haze, the clouds, the sun Rest and watch, till day is done

Hi Gwenevere, this poem is very in touch with the oceanic aspect of nature, lovely.
What's more, you may not believe this but I have just watched the final hour of Camelot on video, and was listening to the soundtrack on the computer when I came across the pen name 'Gwenevere' on this forum.
Wierd or what ! I may have been King Arthur in a previous life. lol

A lovely nature write. Your imagery was very very good. Having lived right on the beach at one time, I could visualize this so easily. The smell of the water that the waves carry in on the breeze, the gulls overhead and going out early each morning to see what gifts the tides had brought in. Splendid work.
