He's got you by the heart now
and he's tearing it apart now
so you beg him to let you go
no more display case that you show
he doesn't understand
and grips it in his hand
thinking he's keeping it from harm
doesn't hear the sirening alarm
digging in the knife
carving in his life
property of his
doesn't know what is
abusing what it was
just doing what he does
He's got you by the heart now
and he's tearing it apart now
