These wings are not symmetrical, My patterns don't match up. I'm at least a million different ways, That won't simply correspond. Each time I try to find my size, It's either too big or small. My puzzle pieces never fit, But the picture still looks decent.
Your catagories won't accept, Each person that I am. But they can't allow your prejudice, To muffle out their voices. Every one of them is different, Though as one they are complete. And I love them all to pieces, Because they are all pieces of me.
No one can get to know me, And see my every side. For if they ever were to, They may not like what's there. I'm not a perfect shape, Not a square and not a circle. But each dent that's seen is mine to love, And your's to scrutinize.
And I know you're not as different, As you pretend to be. We may not share a love or hate, My we hide a certain secret. Inside of all our hardened shells, There are Demons and there's Angels. Each snowflake may not look the same, But their beauty is still unearthly.
