Spring Clean.

Contributed by bernard2 on Monday, 8th August 2005 @ 12:39:48 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

It is time for the annual spring clean in my old house,

All are going to help me including the family mouse.

I went into town and bought lots of things for the clean,

Why I even asked help from her Majesty the Fairy Queen.

Buckets and cloths, mops, scrubbers and some brooms,

We will start by cleaning all of the upper floor rooms.

The mouse children were great they all did there share.

Now the upstairs is very clean and I have not a care.

Down stairs we cleaned out all the cupboards and draws,

Now my whole house is clean without any flaws.

The rough work was done by an Irish Leprechaun,

He worked from in the night till the break of dawn.

The Fairy Queen sprinkled magic dust all over the house.

The work went quite well there was never a grouse.

Now my old house is spotlessly clean and fresh.

New cobwebs from the spiders with a very fine mesh.

Next week we will the garden plant and sew,

If you want to help then please let me know.

When all is finished and things go quite well.

The fruit, salads and vegetables we will all sell.

Then I will hold a dinner and a Fairy Ball.

Yes then I will invite you one and all.

Oooh! Can I come!? Can I come!? :D

You poems always cheer me up, Bernard.
They're always so lovely, and descriptive.

Say Hi to all of them for me.

*hugs* Phil xxx

I cannot think of a more delightful way to spend a day than a party with you and Martha and all the wee folk. Phoenix would be thrilled to play with the fairies. Nothing like a shining clean home to cleanse ones mind and soul.

Love,
Rita
