Left alone here in this prison
Of absolute solitare
A place I call home,
The cave in which I hide
The inner person of me
That awaits to be released
There is more to me
Than meets the eye,
Underneath the skin
Hidden well deep inside
Things you cannot see
Still waters, deep as the ocean
Overflown with desires and wishes,
A creative mind lost in a labyrinth
Of dreams and impossible things
God's creature misunderstood
Me mind, confused and dazed
Lost in a land of make believe
All I wanted, was to be loved
I reach out a hand, in hope,
You'll find me loving heart....

This is a write of a very high standard in my humble opinion!- great lines like 'Still waters, deep as the ocean
Overflown with desires and wishes,' lovely imagery at work here. well done a lovely poem with so great ideas

Of course you want to be loved, but somehow you are scared to be loved.It takes time for anyone to know the real you, if you are willing to open up.You WILL find that person you can truly give your whole self too........he is out there !!

You know, the more & more I read your poems, the more they seem to talk to me. You are an awesome writer and bring the feelings and emotions in your poems to life. That is an awesome gift of talent you have. I felt as though you reached into my soul with the beauty of this write. I know this probably sounds corny but it was like almost witnessing a miracle. That's how alive this poem came to me. Impressive! Brilliance which exceed the best.
