what i want to say to you
to call out and tell you
to explain this longing
this desire
but the words dont come
nothing I can do to show you
this love, this want
to simply know you
to be there
to share
to give to you and provide
to tell you all I see
your caring
your beauty
the way you laugh
your smile lights my day
I long to touch your skin
or taste your lips
to hear those words
escape you...
so much I want to tell you
but so little I can say
knowing nothing would change
so i watch you
leave me behind
I'll never know that pleasure
to hold you and caress
run my hands down you
and wait to hear you
whisper my name...
call out to me
command me
tell me what you want
tell me who you need,
I want to be him...
to be in...
your heart
to hold your love
to hold you love...
to feel your pulse
your sweat
flow over me
drown me in your sea
release what we both have,
trapped deep inside
I see you through the cracks
the imperfections in my soul
and I watch you
your more than me...
more than I can be...
so i'll try,
to stay behind the shadows
out of sight and out of mind
i dont want to fade in your eyes
i need for you
to call to me
say anything
about me
about you
about us...
something...
the more I say
the less you hear
I need you
to hold me near
and push them all away
hide me behind your walls
catch me when I fall
forgive me when I fail
this longing...
this fear...
overwhelming my senses
show me everything
that im not allowed to have
release this pain in me
give me a reason,
I only want to know you...

| I love it. When you read it it makes you feel like you need to know the person that stole your heart. You can actually tangibly feel your heartache and though I am upset to say this but I enjoyed it. Makes me feel that I'm not alone in this pain. Thanks for giving me a sense of knowing I'm not alone sometimes. |

I like to read poetry that I feel something in common with or that makes me feel. Your poem did both. I don't know what I would do if someone wrote something like this for me. I can't imagine it but, I think I would definitely pause and see them in a most unique way.
You write with such heart and soul. You've moved me and I imagine everyone will feel this poem.
