A new person on my heart
Ive always liked them,
From the very start
Even though they do not know
Its so hard
Ive tried to show
But everyday
My love has grown
Ive not known them long in my life
Ive held back from telling
With all of my might
Because what if they do not feel the same?
If they turned me down
Id be ashamed
To show my face
Would be wrong
Id feel so stupid
Im not that strong
My hearts so tender
From minds content
But their face
Is heaven sent
And every time I look them in the eye
I ask myself
Why?

| Because love is complicated. I wuld like to say that if you like this person enough, with a passion that could rival passions, then they have to like you back. But from personal experience, I don't know how true that actually is. Nice write. |
