Within one night, you ruined my life you took what I knew so well and cumpled it up like paper
You hated me and called me names for everything that happened but it's your fault not mine
You told me to meet you there we were suppose to go to Mainstream but you lied, we weren't going to leave
You made me call my parents to ask them to sleep at your house we never went to your house in fact we were only a block away from mine
So many lies were told that night people broke-up and got used no one cared we'd been drinking
You got mad at him so we left four people stuffed in the backseat two touching eachother, not noticed
Sitting and talking in one room hours flew by, someone went home that would be the last time we talked
We laied down to try to fall asleep two girls and a guy in the middle I was not sleepy and niether was he
So many mistakes were made that night but I would not change that night itself I'd just change the things that went wrong

I'm so sorry that you had to deal with such a sad sad story. Nice way to tell the story, though. |

This poem gives you the feeling of the main character being jostled and bumped by the other people in the poem. Like the main character was half unwilling to go along with everything but didn't want to cause an uproar with the others. It's so sad, I'm sorry that you can't change that night. It sounds like the night was you stuck between a rock and a hard place the whole time. Keep posting! |

A nicely written expression of inner feelings.
