Upturned mouth, radiating
A tangerine sunset.
Bold and brilliant colors;
Melting into each moment
As the haloed clouds swim by
Figments of family caress me.
Just as they seem to walk away;
They get closer.
Thoughtless dreams float, forgetfully
Escaping, my certainty
The cool water misting my eyelids
As the calm wind takes its trip
Fluttering I see,
Mirrored birds fly upside down;
Arrow-like and directing the way.
Yesterday I was tired
Crusty corners of my eyes;
Too groggy with sleep
Begging for the moon,
To summon the sound of night
Simply, it lay before me
Arms outstretched, hugging me into
The warmth of my bed
Yesterday;
A touch was just a touch
But today it is more
Today
It is you

Beautiful, just beautiful
Very well expressed write, nice contact with yourself and others, how we are shaped from others, to learn from the contacts we have made. Yes, you touch your arm; touch anothers arm, that is what is real.
Very powerful imagery here, nice process making the write visible

It is amazing the difference one person can make in our lives. I have seen tangerine sunsets and they are brilliant. I have also had a love change my life overnight. Splendid write here.
