In His Perspective

Contributed by Writting_Fever on Wednesday, 10th August 2005 @ 06:05:21 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

In his eyes,
I only run away,
Never fight back,
Waiting for another day,

He opens up,
I stay shut,
Telling me his joy,
As I stay in a rut,

Every time he comes close,
I try not to pull back,
This love you give me,
Is the feeling I lack,

He's willing to change,
To do anything for me,
He would even die,
Just to make me happy,

He always says,
"It's easier than I think,
Just find the one for you,"
Then all he does is wink,

The obsticles I dodge,
I'm dodging to find,
Somewhere better than this,
But all I need is time,

My mind is lost,
Yet so is my heart,
But you're here to help me,
You've been here from the start,

Soon I'll decide,
Keep doing what you've done,
I'll be found in your arms,
We'll be together as one.

Nicely told story of indecision. Change can be scary sometimes, I suppose, but often it's for the better.
I hope things have worked out for you since posting this.
Keep up the writes.
