Memories

When he died, I thought the world was over. I could not go back to sleep or cry. I went to school and it finally hit me....and I fell to the ground. With no one understanding what was wrong with me, all they could do was stand there and try to calm me down. I went home early that day, just to go over and see my grandmother. No one knows I cried at school. I didn't cry in front of my family until Taps was played at his funeral. I couldn't take one last look at him at the viewing. To this day I still find it hard to believe he is gone. And it hurts so bad. I cry a lot. But no one knows that either.

I know the exact feeling. I lost my grandpa almost 4 years ago and it still feels like yesturday. I will hear something that he would have said or a song actually anything. I was on some medication for a week to get me through it. I wish I could say it would get better but it gets a little bit easier and i have to just think that he is up in heaven looking upon me. Sorry for your lost. I know how hard it is.
