I wander the path of life
Seemingly alone
I enter trials and tribulations
Feeling deserted
I encounter speedbumps and roadblocks
With no co-pilot
That's now it feels to me
But I know the truth is that
I'm never alone
Never really deserted
And my co-pilot is always there
My God is always with me
Leading, following, encouraging, and strengthening
He will never leave
So as life continues
In it's usual way
All I have to remember is
He IS there
Always

Indeed He is. And the times it feels as if He is not, are preludes to new lessons and inspiration.

| hey i love your poem. It is really really good. I am glad that you have a spiritual connection with God. You are probably one of the few that realizes what your poem states.. anyways it was a great read and an even greater write. |
