It's been awhile since
I've felt your soft touch
Or heard the sweet sound
Of your whisper in my ear
Awake now is my biggest fear
That you're not coming back
That you aren't even near
I mourn for your dismissal
And scorn my own behavior
For I thought you were my savior
Now realizing I cannot be saved
That I've been waived
No longer on your roster
I'm just a damn imposter
It's been awhile since
I've seen those baby blues
Or had the chance to tell
You how beautiful you look
But it's my heart that you took
And your pen that I use
To write the last chapter in our book
I mourn for your dismissal
And scorn my own behavior
For I thought you were my savior
Now realizing I cannot be saved
That I've been waived
No longer on your roster
I'm just a damn imposter
It's been awhile since
I've thought a thought of you
Or let myself care
That you aren't by my side
Many tears I've cried and nearly died
But even with your departure
I'll always have my pride
I mourn for your dismissal
And scorn my own behavior
For I thought you were my savior

very sad but the last line makes alot of sense when you've been hurt and see your better off with out that person, you thought you couldn't live without.
