I know youre still here...

My Brown Eyed Mistress
Where have you gone?
You're no longer in my grasp

So many nights i spent in your warm embrace
But know when i see you...
There is no look upon your face

I miss our days gone by...
For whom did they have to die?

My Brown Eyed Mistress
I know one day our time will come again
A day far off... When you will bear a grin

For althought you've made this change
I know of what you truely desire

We are one in the same....
Feared creatures whom can not be tame

I shall wait in the darkness, peering out only to see....
If My Brown Eyed Mistress has come back for me

May the breeze beckon her to return....

Sometimes, one just knows when another is still there. You just feel it and you wait--like two chess players unsure of who's turn it is...

This is an excellent poem.

I feel fortunate to have came across it.

Kie :)
