Peace, love, and happiness, That is what I truly miss, Deployed to this far away land, Wondering if I'll make home to hold my daughter's hand,
I'm so far away, I hate being apart, With a picture of my family tattooed to my heart, Will tomarrow be my last, I go to sleep dreaming of my past,
While friends and family enjoy the season, I'm over here helping this country defeat their demons, I will fight for freedom, peace, and love, All with the help from the Lord above,
This is my duty, this is what I want to do, All because America I love you, Via satellite I recieve a kiss, Being home with my family is what I wish.
Forever Faithful The Phantom

I see the soldier crouched in a dug out scribbling this down onto the back of a tobacco paacket or something - Great poem indeed - loved it.
