The iron vault slid shut
and embracing loss that is recognized
it seals itself, unaware
the deepening catalyst of the burnout and undesired
but they peeled her from her own car
and pronounced her lost
the desperate heaven cries
tattered search
the inevitable surrender
if there were answers, mr. question would be bribed
coaxed off that ledge of inability, unforgiven
he''d buy the lie that we are more
more than what we''ve invested in each other
but they''re lowering her headstone into the cold earth
and he''s chasing, chasing her with his undeniable love
A bottle of vodka and some downers
who gave us this life
what world is this
her head in the windsheild
the empty resolution
a moment is eternal
a battle, and tormented failure
weeping in choices and recognition

A very vivid, emotive piece. The writing is a little abstract, but as I read I realized that by being so it communicates much more of the feeling behind this particular poem.
I like the way the tangible, physical (if one will) elements are mixed almost haphazardly with the abstract or spiritual. Powerful.
