Wish I was dead, dont want to live no more,
cant wait to die, say good bye, walk out of lifes front door,
it was not me that wrote, this sad little sonnet,
I dont want to die, I found it, in my hubbys pocket.

I really felt quite worried, so that night when he got home,
when he left the toilet seat, up decided not to moan,
I put up with all his nasty habits, for about a month,
it was obvious from the note, he was down in the dumps,

Then one day he said, with a nasty scowl, i'm leaving you today,
you've become a cow.

Well by now Id had enough, so said i'll see you off,
goodbye he said, wish I was dead, i'm in love, with a Goth,
looks like Id been a fool, the death wish, the note,
the new long black coat, that explained it all.

Hi lillyjane, What a poem! When it started out so morbid I felt bad for laughing at the humor in it. Then when I knew it was ok, you closed it in a self defacing way. For me it was a garden of emotions reading it. By the way, I thought it was great!

Perhaps he would have had a happier out look if he wasn't hanging round with Goths!! Very funny poem.
