The greatest and the cruelest gift The Lord has ever gave Can build you up or break you down For it's love, the heart's own game
Tears aplenty have been shed Throughout the countless years Tears of joy and pain alike Shed from pleasure and fear
The heart and mind, a battle ground The war is never calm The heart wants what it wants And the mind is dragged along
For all the ups and all the downs One thing still remains true Love will make the crazy sane And the sane go crazy too.
