I'm not so nieve to think that it meant
Much of anything
It had been close to two months since
You'd seen me
You remembered the guilty kisses
We had shared
I had been sitting in my room reading when
The phone rang
My best friend told me to come because you
Asked for me
I got out of the car and there you were
Waiting for me
I sat next to you on the couch and your arm
Snaked around me
I felt your cold fingers playing against
My bare arm
I looked at you and noticed that you were
Looking at me
We both leaned in not exactly sure if
It was right
Your nose rubbed sweetly against mine in
An Eskimo Kiss
And then your lips fell upon mine in
A real kiss
The day progressed filled with kisses and
You and me
Coffee with friends telling stories and
You teasing me
The day drew to its end for me and I got
Up to leave
You told me this time not to stay away
For two months
You're a terrible sweetheart to so many girls
Other than me
So while I'm not so nieve to think that it meant
Much of anything
It was something that was for me
Just in time

Oooo you go girl!! It's not hard to see when somoene is a sweetheart to many girls around him other than one self....This is a beautiful write, and it's full of depth...it's a beautiful memory of time well spent....thanks for sharing t his one....
