Nothing but a friend.
If you had asked me
I'd rather be the one.
Watch as the stars fade
And the lights all burst.
Let me light the way
And I would go first.
To the end of time
We'd walk together
Your hand holding mine
Lovers forever.
They all want to be
Your loving savior.
Your savior is me
But I want much more.
I try hard to see
The big picture's truth.
All there seems to be
Is nothing but you.
