You and I, we stand alone
I see you and I call
You turn, you see the pools of tears
Will you catch me when I fall?
You and I, we make good friends
So different, yet both in need
I can help you and you can help me
On love each soul shall feed
You and I, brought together
We watch, we laugh, we cry
I realies I have found someone
Who can help me get by.
You and I, we are as one
Making love, its all so clear
I took something of yours, gave too much of mine
Give it back, Im sorry, its not fair
You and I, we seem so happy
I finally start to believe
I trusted you, I said too much
Yet you still said you wouldn't leave
You, you turn your back on me
How can I just let go
I fall, I'm crying, to the ground
I try to tell you no
You, you're really hurting me
This is such a bad day
I beg and plead with you not to go
Please don't push me away
You, you're breaking my heart, even though you promised
You'd love me through and through
I want you to know I trust you, you're my best friend
And I'll never stop loving you.
