Something it was....almost
something it isn't by just a little bit
just a little bit ...i wish i could skip
an almost i could almost forget
eyes that meet every once and a while
a smile hidden,
afraid of the reflection
love withheld
a mended heart that needs protection
bars that are welded with pain
a game, impossible to make any positive gain
a scenario that goes in circles
a pattern that dosent change
my shot at you is out of range
an island.......surrounded
love in your heart........impounded
where do i start
to take the pieces apart
where do i start
to stop keeping us apart
