I just want to be needed
I wish youd help me off the ground
I wish I knew you noticed
When I wasnt around
I wish I made a difference
I wish I had a reason to be
I wish we shared the same view
But you will never see
I need you so
I need you though,
You dont need me
And this I know
But I dont care
I cant help stare
Youre all I see
When you are there
The way you shine
But you not mine
I wish you were
Cause youre so fine
Although your not
Youre what is sought
A harder lesson
Has never been taught
And so I must go on
And leave things as they are
But I will not stray
I'll never be to far
Just know if you need me
If you need somebody there
Just call out to me
So I can show how much I care
Ill be there for anything
No matter what the size
Small or large Ill stand tall
Together we wont be surprised
Ill be a pillar when youre weak
If you cant stand up on your own
If you have no one to call yours
Ill be where you call home
Just look right behind you
And its me that you will see
But know that by your side
Is where I really long to be

| beautiful heartfelt wonderfully written. That person is lucky to have somebody like you in their life. Again like most of your poems i am able to relate. Hope everything works out. |

So deep and so heartful.....yet I hope, you see you keep that door open, and it makes it easy to close.........for her and keep you on a pedelastal.! beautiful write, Chris.! Just sad.!
