Bits of broken glass shimmering like dew Glinting in the soft glow of the moon Caught a glimpse of my reflection " Those borrowed eyes were never your possession"
Jagged shards sparkling like a calm sea Whisper temptingly, " Come drink of me"
Bits of broken glass ... Like stars in a midnight sky
A fleeting thought before I die

I saw someone comment on this and the title just completely drew me in.
I love this.
I cannot even believe it hasn't been commented on very much.
I really like the first stanza, it makes me think and wonder about the subject of the poem.
Great write.
