when nights are cold
and you're lonely still
and your broken heart
is all you feel
and you start to think
that life's unfair
and there is no one
in which to care
and the tears they fall
like pouring rain
and it seems your life
is all in vain
and then you wonder
was it all in kind
or was it all
just in your mind
And the days are void
and filled with dread
a deep dark fear
that fills your head
a broken heart
that's left to bleed
no hope to stay
this wanting need
and the days gone by
are all the same
when you look to find
someone to blame
