I hate the way, I used to feel, Back when my looks, Were hard to deal,
Though you tell me, My beauty shines through, I feel that I, Want something new,
You tell me about my body, How my looks knock you down, You say I'm the prettiest girl, You've seen in this whole town,
Your fingers fun down, The side of my arm, You tell me they're slender, And you work your charm,
You say my hands are small, And so easy to hold, My eyes, like the stars, Or so I'm often told,
My legs are sculptured, My tone is so tan, He could just picture my feet, A dainty pair in the sand,
My smile never dims, And it makes him proud, To say I'm his girl, He's shout it out loud,
I don't need surgery, Or a fake chin, 'Cause you made me feel good, In my own skin.

This is wonderful! What a lovely write about finally being comfortable in your own skin...That's great that you have someone who makes you feel so good about yourself...as you should! Well done with this poem.
