My little baby's gone to sleep
Peaceful, Thoughful sleep
As i watched her drift away
I grew to love her more and more
She clutched her teddy
Closer to her tiny body
Thumb in her mout
Sleeping silently
I know I won't get much sleep myself
Before she wakes up crying
But she has made my life
Worth Living

Beautiful write. I have a 3 year old boy and an 8 year old daughter. I remember when they were babies, how I would love to watch them sleep. I had colicky babies, so I really enjoyed their sleep times. LOL. Enjoy....they grow so fast. Peace and congrats to you on your baby. How old is she? |
