Beautiful words have ugly meanings
Like suicide sliding off the tip of your tongue
It sounds so sexy and yet so wrong
These are my thoughts clothed in language
Just waiting for you to undress them
Like a drunken one-night stand
Well write poetry that makes no sense
And pretend to comprehend
This is boredom like gum
On the bottom of my shoe
Mocking me with its flavor blue
This is today like decay
On the side of the road
Laughing at me as I grow old
