this is the first time
anyone hurt my pride
the first time i started to cry
first time i didnt know what to do
there just stages to
becoming no longer blue
the first morning when i wake
didnt talk to you last night
we didnt stay up to late
the frist dinner as i think
think so much you forget to blink
wonder if she is ok is she hurt to
the first time you didnt think about you
its been two days since the sudden change
the first time in months your glad it rains
you talk on the day of three
the first time your really starting to see
she still wants to be friends
the first time you dont know if you can
off to bed acting like your ok
the first time in your outloud you pray
go to work atleast your used to it
the first time you face the music
you smile a few times maybe laugh
the first time you almost feel whole
but you know your just half.
one day youll be over her
and you will get on with your life
you have just set the stage
for the first time you have a wife!
